This week in Mr Finley's class, we completed the Dynamics module, but only up to 4.2. We worked on this twice, i believe. We reviewed force diagrams and how to show how the diagrams would look if:
- the object was in place
- the object was in a greater force on one end and not the other
- the object was being pushed/ pulled by a force
&more. Mr Finley tried to show us how to actually draw the diagrams if one end had greater force and what the forces would be if there was a force that was pulling/ pushing.
Wednesday, Mr Finley showed us a hard question about who was right, either Marc or Andrew about some question. It was hard for the whole class but eventually we all ended up understanding that Marc was correct the whole time.
I was absent one day, i can't recall what day though. But, I am not quoite sure what i missed. I think i was absent Thurday though.
Friday we went over homework and force diagrams for the people who didn't understand them very well. Mr Finley used many examples throughout the week, like Mr Finley and Maggie both holding a bookbag together and who was holding the bag with more force. Also, another example was that Mr Finley was dragging Don on the floor. Don and Owen shared an example of when they were on an elevator together and Mr Finley was discussing with the class about if you jump on the elevator at the right time you will feel like you jump up and the elevator floows your trail and when you jump up at another point, you will feel like you're falling.
That was basically our week.
